Plan dinners for next week. Nothing with mushrooms, and Emma cooks on Wednesday.

Done. Five dinners are in week 46, with Emma on Wednesday’s pasta with pesto. Want the ingredients on this week’s shopping list?

More you can ask

Find three popular dinners on Matprat and add them to next week. I want chicken, fish and beef, an hour at most, and healthy.
import_recipe × 3 add_to_meal_plan × 3
I imported three from Matprat and put them on Monday, Wednesday and Friday: chicken stew with vegetables (45 min), oven-baked cod (30 min) and beef with roasted vegetables (50 min). All are under 550 kcal per serving.
Put together a week menu from the dinners we’ve rated highest and cooked most in the last two months.

Done. The week menu “Favourites” has the five dinners you’ve cooked most and rated highest since late August: taco Friday, chicken curry, salmon with potatoes, grandma’s meatballs and pasta with pesto. Shall I put it in next week?

One home base

Food first. Chores and how-tos next.

Heimtakt starts in the kitchen and grows into the rest of the week, so the whole household works from the same place.

Recipes AI

Bring in any recipe, from anywhere

Paste a link, a block of text or a photo of grandma’s handwritten card. Heimtakt turns it into a recipe you can scale, cook from step by step and plan for the week.

  • AI reads any web page, text or photo AI
  • AI links each line to a food, with nutrition from the Norwegian food composition table AI
  • Every line keeps the words you wrote, like “2 dl flour, sifted”
  • Cook mode shows one step at a time, with what it needs

Meal plan

Everyone knows who is cooking

Put a cook on each meal, children too. Heimtakt works out when to start from the meal time and the recipe, and sends a reminder to the cook’s phone.

  • Save a good week as a week menu and use it again
  • Meals with several courses, from soup to dessert
  • Drag a meal to another day when plans change

Shopping AI

A shopping list that writes itself

Add the week’s dinners in one tap. When two recipes need the same thing, the list adds it up and still shows what each one needs. Ask AI to tidy it, and a spoon of butter and 50 g of butter become one pack to buy.

  • The same food in the same unit adds up by itself
  • AI tidies across units and suggests a pack, for 1 credit AI
  • Nothing is lost: switch between combined, by recipe and tidied
  • Several lists, one for the week and one for the cabin

Households and circles

Family recipes, shared between homes

Join a circle with your parents, siblings or friends and share recipes and week menus. A shared recipe stays with the home it came from, so when grandma fixes the meatballs, everyone gets the fix.

  • Belong to more than one household, like home and the cabin
  • Children can be members before they have a login
  • You decide what is private, shared or public

Pricing

Questions

Do we pay per person?

No. The plan and its credits belong to the household, and everyone in it uses them. If you are in two households, each one has its own plan.

What happens when we run out of credits?

Everything else keeps working, including imports from sites with recipe data. Imports that need AI wait until your credits reset on the 1st. Unused credits don’t carry over.

Can our children use it?

Yes. Add a child to the household without a login and put them on the meal plan as a cook. When they are ready, an adult can give them their own login, and their history comes along.

Which languages does it come in?

Heimtakt is made in Norway and comes in Norwegian (bokmål) and English. Nutrition comes from the Norwegian food composition table.

Can I sign up today?
